The seat cushion is comfortable and the sled is overall very attractive. The fact that it folds for storage is a definite plus. I was very disappointed, however, when I opened the box and found not fewer than four large chips in the veneer and that the wood under the veneer was very soft particle board. The fact that it was veneer over cheap pressedboard was nowhere in the product description. I do not believe this sled will last us more than two seasons because once the particle board gets wet, it will likely begin to deteriorate quickly and getting wet is inevitable since it's going to be used in the snow. This would be a good sled at a reasonable price if it were made with real wood. Since it's made of such cheap material, I figure its price is probably about two to... One more thing: the sled arrived with a problem in the hinge pins.
