Looking at the advertised picture and description, I was led to believe that two sleds I ordered were the typical 1" or so thick, rigid foam sleds. When the box arrived I thought it was a rolled up poster that my wife had ordered. It turnes out these sleds are as thick as an envelope, cheap and completely worthless. You would be better off sledding on a garbage bag. Don't be fooled by this seller. I now see that I was not the only one taken by this dishonest person. What a mistake!

This sled rolls up nicely, and might have a place in your trunk, for unexpected sledding opportunities. Other than that, just about anything is better. The ride is harsh, there is little control, the handles are weak and will rip out with real use. I paid $1/each on sale, and I still feel kinda silly getting them.

I ordered two of these sleds for younger children and they are great! They're not heavy, easy for the kids to tote up the hill, and they are slick, but not too slick to make the sled ride too fast for younger children. My only complaints were (1) I didn't get the sleds shown in the photo, but rather blue ones that looked like advertisements and (2) I ordered a week before Christmas and they didn't arrive in time, yet they were shipped from the company just 35 miles from my house! All in all I was very happy with these sleds.
